This exclusive golf course custom home was built as a second home and retirement property. The home, located in one of Austin's most prestigious neighborhoods, is a modern Tuscan style home with a simple elegance about it. The challenge of this project was two-fold: 1. This architecture, designed in-house with on-staff architectural designers, needed to accommodate a warm, Tuscan feel without being overdone (maintaining clean, simple lines), while also blending into the neighborhood of primarily Tuscan and Mediterranean style homes. 2. The clients lived out-of-town and traveled frequently during the design & construction process, making communication and technology a key factor to the success of the project.
