This beautiful executive home in north Burlington was originally very traditional with its furnishings and earth toned walls. Our client wanted to change her traditional furnishings to something more contemporary and clean-lined. So we started with a colour palette of soft greys, charcoals and apple greens as an accent. All new furniture was purchased, however we kept the original entertainment unit and left it stained in a warm walnut to help ground the room. We did restyle it though with new accessories in white, chrome and apple green. This room is open to the kitchen as well as the sunroom so we painted the original wicker furniture and buffet in a medium "greige" tone, added crystal hardware to the buffet, reupholstered the original cushions on the wicker furniture in a soft grey and added a new dining table and chairs and sideboard in the sunroom, as well as new lighting and accessories in all 3 rooms. The result is a very clean-lined but comfortable, bright and cheerful living area that our client enjoys relaxing and entertaining in with family and friends.
