Ultra Modern Float Wine Cellar West Vancouver

Simple and sleek this wine cellar has a very clean look. All the bottles are displayed on the float wine racking system. The float system consists of high tension cables and glass cradles to create a "floating" appearance. The walls and ceiling of the wine cellar have a vapour barrier and insulation. The front of this cellar consists of two types of glass. The entry door area is a frameless glass with u-channel, top and bottom mounted hinges and weather stripping. The windows on either side of the stone posts are framed insulated glass with argon gas. The purpose for the two types of glass was to assure we had the proper insulative value to make sure the cellar was at an appropriate BTU rating for the cooling unit we had chose for the space. The cooling unit in this cellar is a Cellarpro split system where the evaporator is mounted on the wall inside the cellar. This allows the client to easily monitor the temperature as the temperature display and settings are located directly on the face of the unit.
