This light-filled, corner classic six co-op was purchased by our renovators in 2020. They sought to update the plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. They also replaced the floors throughout the home and installed a new kitchen which features custom stone and millwork.

The floors in this apartment were in really good condition, since they had rarely been sanded and refinished. The homeowners chose a slightly lighter stain than the average pre-war apartment, giving it a very Parisian feel.

The result is a modern and Instagram-worthy space that reflects the young family’s personality which mixes traditional and modern perfectly. For example, they have perfectly-laid out accent tiles in the kitchen floor and bathrooms, and these compliment the farmhouse sink which is practical yet beautiful.
