This pre-war, classic six room apartment on the Upper West Side of Manhattan was in "estate condition" when it was purchased by a young couple. To create a more family friendly layout, we relocated and opened up the kitchen into a new Family Room, where there had been a formal dining room. Large glass doors separate the Family Room from the Living/Dining Room. The oversized Living Room was visually divided into Living and Dining areas, with the dining table centered on the Foyer and apartment entry door.
