Vancouver Villa - backyard

An ongoing project started in 2021, involving concrete work, and reducing lawn area. The lower garden is mostly used for viewing, and the mostly low maintenance plantings serve to bring in birds and insects. More to come...

The planted screen toward the neighbor's parking lot is filling in nicely. Tall cypresses head skyward while a mix of evergreen and flowering shrubs will do the rest.
