Our clients loved this custom built range hood, so we designed the entire kitchen to ensure it all worked well together. We ordered a dark island and countertop to balance the darker metal in the range hood and so the island looked and felt like a stand-alone piece of furniture.

We took the counter and used it as a backsplash to keep the space cohesive while adding to the contemporary feeling. Adding amazing accessories gave the space more personality and charm.

Using the carpet as our inspiration, we added accessories, art and fabulous toss pillows to kick it up a notch. Although we installed pot lights, we gave the room better ambient lighting with a chrome floor lamp and silver birch table lamps.

Clocks are one of our favourite items to add to any space. This one is both rustic and gorgeous and works perfectly with the traditional bench. The blackboard in the background adds warmth and whimsy to the space.

This is the perfect angle to get a true appreciation for the "geography" in the backsplash behind the sink. Our clients wanted "white with movement"...and this has both. The pendant lights are the perfect scale and feeling for this kitchen. Adding wood and greenery to the space brings texture and warmth to the cool colour palette.
