Venice Midcentury
This project entailed using plants that the client had already bought believing she would do the garden renovation herself. Early on she decided she had bitten off more than she could chew, and lucky for me, asked me to take over (-:
It turned out to be challenging, yet fun working with a given plant palette- a lot like a certain cooking show where one has to use the ingredients found in a basket!!
With the exception of some invasive plants, the plant palette was quite beautiful and drought tolerant, too! It was my job to arrange the plants in a cohesive fashion that would make attractive vignettes according to light and water compatibility.
The best part was my client gave me carte blanche to rearranging her fabulous collection of midcentury furniture and planters. I had a ball!
