Vina's Tiny House

My Tiny House is a personal project: building my own house. It reflects my philosophy about simplicity, sustainability, and living within my means.
My design has 140 sf of living space (based on 8’ x 20’ trailer) and is wholly self-sufficient. Equipped with a fireplace, spacious kitchen and skylights, living simply has never felt so luxurious!

The bathroom sink is compact and supported with a steel frame, custom made and welded by Vina's boyfriend.

The bathroom is filled with natural light. The shower is tiled with a flexible grout to resist cracking during travel on the trailer. It includes a bench, very useful for bottles of shampoo, etc. The windows allow for natural ventilation and views to nature outside.

The toilet is a simple composting toilet - there is no blackwater. It consists of a bucket and biodegradable bag, to be used with peat moss and sawdust. When the toilet is not in use, it is disguised as a plywood bench, very useful during a shower.
