Some initial goals were to create a naturally open and warm home where visitors of all ages could gather to enjoy each other and all that the property offers. The finished product is a barn-style home featuring exposed structural and decorative steel and abundant glass. Innovative details include a bunk bed nook, a lofted master bedroom, a generous wine storage room that combines the glass and metal elements found throughout the rest of the home and sliding exterior pocket doors that, when open, seamlessly connect the outside to the interior. This home welcomes visitors and encourages lingering.
