Walnut Ridge is the compilation of (3) distinct remodeling projects. The 1st was the addition of a covered portico off the kitchen/dining area with a terraced veranda. This eased the abrupt transition (4 foot drop) from the interior to the back yard and created a covered porch. The 2nd project was the expansion of a poorly designed mudroom and adding a first floor laundry. The 3rd project included creating an integrated fireplace surround, wainscoting, crown molding and trim detail to bring creature comfort and human scale to the 30 ft. high great room.
