Embracing the historical industrial roots of the building as the Fee & Stemwell Airguide Barometer Factory, I wanted to create a lobby space that was welcoming, warm yet industrially modern. Using an unconventional mix of weathered wood, galvanized steel, polished concrete and custom warehouse style lighting, the lobby has become a chic, modern urban communal gathering space.
