Warrington Residence
The design is reminiscent of a carriage house and is intended to complement
the existing funeral home. The concept of the carriage house as a support building was further instilled by tucking the oversized 4-car garage at the
base of the site, under the main level of the house.
The occupied levels of the home have unobstructed views of the wooded valley beyond. Following the slope of the site up to the front of the house, one
finds a generous, grade-level entry porch that serves to welcome visitors to the home. This covered porch also serves as an outdoor room for the homeowners
to enjoy alone or with company.
