With two young active boys playing lacrosse and basketball, these homeowners were determined to build an addition to their detached garage to accommodate their active family. After meeting with the Pillar Team, the remodeling plans began with envisioning a sport court connected to the garage and evolved into also creating a bonus room above and a connecting hallway to the existing home on the second floor allowing for easy access. After using the homeowners’ lot effectively to build a tasteful addition specific to the dreams of the homeowners, the family can now enjoy a spacious bonus room with a bathroom, sleeping loft, T.V. theater area and connecting hallway to the home, while providing an indoor sport court for the boys to practice for the big game year round.
