This client had great taste in design. She just loved it so much that there was too much furniture in her living spaces when she was trying to sell her home. The good news was that we were able to "shop" from her furniture and artwork arsenal when deciding which pieces to keep and which to store away. The dilemma she had was the living room. She couldn't visualize how the furniture should be arranged. The room was full of very nice pieces but they were crowding the room as well as blocking the visual flow that should start at the door and follow through the living room to the kitchen. After rearranging the chairs and storing the extra chairs and chests that were in corners, we created a visually open space the buyers would fall in love with. The basement needed organization as there were storage closet spaces maxed out and overflowing with mattresses and storage totes. Once we purged the closets, we were able to show potential buyers that there was ample space for their belongings.
