West Plano Open Concept Bachelor Pad
This open design layout was thoughtfully designed for a bachelor in Plano who was ready for a fresh start. He was ready to part ways with his deep purples and orange tones from the 80’s and desired a lighter and brighter, neutral space with an updated classic feel. Each area in the open layout was planned to meet his specific needs and define the space without the presence of walls. Dramatic features are seen throughout the design, as when you cross the threshold you are greeted with a bold, blue abstract painting to welcome you into the home. If you look deeper into the space you see a striking black and floral wallpaper on the back wall of the keeping room layered with sheer, textured drapery. Abstract wood panels are flanked with two teardrop sconce pendants to spruce up the kitchen wall that once stood blank and awaiting some attention. Mixed metals are layered throughout the house which gives a collected, rich look. Each room has its own special feature and provides conversation starters when guests come into the home. The house as a whole caters to all the client’s wants and needs and lives up to his motto of “out with the old and in with the new”.
