As the pandemic broke out our firm facilitated in making PPE. More than 7500 masks were made for local and area hospitals and facilities within the first 2 months, March and April of 2020. This grassroots effort was initiated by the Westchester based Interior Design community with cotton fabric donations from by major fabric companies. Our local workrooms started sewing PPE and managing the logistics. Our firm worked to connect the 2 resources, materials and labor. We then brought the effort to the attention of our Westchester County Legislator, Ruth Walter who has been influential in getting PPE to facilities in need. PPE is still needed and is still being made by our local Interior Design workrooms with donated fabric.
