Prior the construction of the new patio, this area was the drainage for the entire hillside, resulting in the home flooding from heavy rainfall. The Landscape Architects at Southern Landscape designed a new patio and outdoor living area for the homeowner, incorporating substantial changes in grading and drainage, an extensive sub-drain system, natural berming, and rerouted stream flows to improve the functionality and aesthetics of this beautiful home.
