They're not particularly a breeze to build but when complete they absolutely knock your socks off! Sure they snap drill bits & wear down saw blades, but all is forgiven when the customer walks out onto their new hardwood deck for the first time!
For this project the customer selected Cumaru decking boards & railings. CT Deck Pros only brings in FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) Certified materials when constructing our Brazilian Hardwood Decks. Other hardwoods that we use include IPE, Jatoba & Tigerwood.
We dismantled the old PT deck, framing & all to construct this beauty. The new deck is deeper than the previous one, the stairs have been relocated & a sweet grill "bump out" has been added to increase the functional living space of the deck. Also included is a very nice lattice gate to allow for easy access underneath for storage.
While we've come to expect nothing but top quality from our team at Mainstream Construction, the beautiful mitered border, feature strips & the custom crafted post skirts impressed even us!
