On a scale of 1 to 10 the view from this White Salmon home is a 15! We designed this renovation project to capture the spectacular view by minimizing columns, installing an all glass guard rail on the deck and a south facing window wall. We also removed a wall to open up the kitchen and dining room spaces and installed custom cabinets and paint colors to engage the surrounding landscape. This local artist's home now feels like a cabin in the sky. FSC certified lumber and selected sustainable materials were used whenever possible. Local stone can be found throughout the patio and three 1000 gallon cisterns were buried on site to capture rainwater for use in the dryer months.
