Wilmette, IL.
Bearing the historical architectural works of George W. Maher and Sons, this unique setting provided several interesting opportunities for the development of a Landscape Master Plan. The large expanse of front lawn between the adjoining properties of the “Sister Estates“ creates a clear sense of entry and, overall, emphasizes the site’s grand scale. The front terrace embraces the foundation of the house and offers elevated views of the formal sunken rose garden with slopes of fragrant perennials on both sides of the garden.
