This modern kitchen is part of a large entertaining area that opens up to the backyard pool. The materials are wenge, white lacquer, and stainless steel. The owner wanted a neat, modern aesthetic that was easy to keep clean and uncluttered. We selected wenge veneer because it has a very straight grain. The classic white cabinetry on the island was an obvious choice for contrast. The dominant feature is the custom built stainless steel island table which is indispensable for entertaining large groups of people.
