Can you create a thicker looking countertop with Cambria? I was a thick looking kitchen countertop - but not sure what materials wI'll enable me to get that "look" - but stand up to damage at the same time.

You can make any countertop that is natural stone or quartz look thicker by doing a miter edge.

You can also laminate or "stack" the edge, but then you seam lines in the edge.

The miter edge just has a small seam in the corner that can be polished and is generally inconspicuous. It also lets any gaining or movement in the slab wrap down the edge.

This is... my last project... Maybe.

See my other comment. These come in very large standard sized sheets of different thicknesses usually and can be cut to size and shape with different bevels/edges etc. like a counter top can be.

vrbenavente-Maggie is correct on the information she has given. Generally you would go to a glass shop so they can custom cut the glass based on your backsplash measurements. You have several options on cut, color, thickness etc taking this route. Hope this helps vrbenavente!

Thanks for your inquiry. Unfortunately, this project was several years ago and I don't have the model on file. However, the range manufacturer is Wolf, there is a good possibility the hood could also be Wolf Brand.

irvinesundevil- this is a 6cm ( or 2.3 inches). Standard Countertops are usually 3cm(1 1/4 inch). Its a great look for a modern space!
