I love the kitchen! I am wondering about the stainless steel "backsplash" behind the stove. Is that custom? - I have ordered a wolf range top and I am now trying to figure out what to do for a backsplash. The stainless seems very practical. Thoughts?

Hi Dbax, Wolf offers various stainless backsplashes to go with your rangetop. There is a 5 inch, 10 inch, and 20 inch with shelf - so it would not be necessary to have one custom made. I have attached some pictures. You can order this piece through the dealer where you purchased your rangetop. Hope this helps!

What is the overhang for the bar counter on the stool side? - Some places say that 15" is necessary for adequate space for knees, but this one looks a little smaller.

We typically would design them at a minimum of 12" deep and preferably 15" or 16". This one ended up at about 10".

I no longer have the brand or color of that paint, nor does the client. The idea was to give it both a cottage feel and a color palette a little reminiscent of the older homes this one is surrounded by in it's old Austin neighborhood.

The floor product is a "thin" brick product, common brick size but thin cut, by Robinson Brick Company (now General Shale). The particular product was either "English Pub", "Townsquare", or "Train Station".

It is a "thin" brick paver product with a common brick face size. It was provided by Robinson Brick Company (now General Shale) in Austin. The color was either: (a) "English Pub"; (b) "Town Square" or "Train Station". The house was built some years back and now has a new owner. I don't have the final selection on it.

This home was sold by the original owner, my client, and unfortunately neither he nor the builder has the color file any longer. The client had selected the color and I don't have the name of it either. Sorry.

The colors were selected by my client/homeowner at the time. They no longer live in the home. Neither they or the builder has record of the color any longer. Sorry.
