I would like to do a similar treatment on my fireplace wall which is 11' x 20' and spoke to my granite and stone installer and they told me that the travertine slabs were too heavy to install on a vertical wall.
How was this on done? Also, I do not see any seams.

Not true too heavy for wall installation. I have a floor to ceiling wall of silver travertine behind my master bath tub. AND a entire fireplace wall in my Master Bedroom. Can be done. You just need the right people.

Hello! There are 2 chandeliers in this space - One of them was an antique from A. Tyner Antiques in Atlanta, GA and the other was custom made to match.

The OP hasn't commented, but it appears that the wall and shelf are made from natural stone. Here is where I would go for natural stone: Materials Marketing. They have some magnificent designs and can do just about anything custom as well.

Typically a slab is 50 square feet (around 10' x 5').

Hello cabungalow. Thank you for the interest in the lamps features in this photo. While the photo may be deceiving, these are actually larger scale table lamps and were custom made from old stair railings and topped with a parchment shade.
If you feel the creative itch, I would encourage you to go to a local salvage yard and you never know what you may find that you could turn into a one of a kind lamp for yourself!

Firebrick is different from common brick, about 4 1/2" x 9" x 2 1/2" thick typically (also available in "splits", 1 1/4" thick), but these appear to be split the long way (so they're 2 1/4" x 9") to create a more elegant herringbone effect. Hello George. Thank you for the interest in this fireplace mantel. It is made of limestone. I currently do not have any other information regarding vendors as the project was completed a few years ago. We have used two companies in the past such as Francois & Co. and Dracme who provide limestone fireplace products. You might have luck at one of these finding something similar!

These cubes were purchased pre-made and the fabric is actually a terry cloth that is sewn to almost resemble little pebbles.
