Rustic Ski Home Rustic Kitchen, Denver
In this Kitchen, we used a light knotty alder cabinet for the perimeter of the kitchen, and a black painted finish at the island. We also mixed up the counter top materials, using a combination of granite & solid wood.

I know that this floor is rustic and scraped and stained. I'm not positive of the wood species but could definitely be hickory.

That is a custom wood surround for the hood with space in the center panel for a patinaed copper panel.
