I had thought to use the 36" ht table so it would double as a kitchen work surface, but felt it might overpower the living room seating area.
if you went with the 36" table, you would need counterheight stools.

I don't believe this one could be used as a real birdcage as it is painted wood... which is probably why it looks so nice! it was purchased in chinatown, vancouver at a shop that has long gone away...

thanks so much! I'm not sure what company the developer used to build the cabinetry but we spec'd a simple shaker style painted in Benjamin Moore 2121-10 Gray with a low sheen finish. The countertop is caeserstone 'blizzard'.

thank you! the bingo footrest (which folds out into a single bed) is from vancouver special and is by softline http://vanspecial.com/furniture/bingo/

it's a walnut laminate. it was supposed to be natural american walnut hardwood but the developer went for laminate. i don't know the brand.

the iron unit was from fullhouse in vancouver but i'm not sure if you'll still find one there... good luck! http://fullhouseconsign.com
