I am interested in possibly purchasing the Bar Chart Bliss Rug. Can you please provide retail sources for this rug? Also, are they available according to room size? Thank you very much for your assistance!

Sorry but I am not sure where to buy this console. I designed and imported the rug for this space. All the best.

The amount of space around the rug depends of course on any furniture in the space as well. I suggest leaving 6 to 12 inches of exposed floor around the rug...sometimes even 18 inches in a larger room. If your entry has no furniture, then 6 to 12 inches of exposed floor would work. There is not a hard and fast rule of thumb because furniture placement is critical to the decision. Best of luck!

The width of the entry rug depends on the width of the entry area, not the width of the door. I recommend leaving 6 to 12 inches of exposed floor on either side of the entry rug. Good luck!

What Houzz contributors are saying:
Tiffany Carboni added this to Get Clever With Area Rugs for Warmth and Beauty
Make an entrance. This foyer makes a colorful statement with the Bar Chart Bliss Runner by Julie Dasher Rugs. The soft wool pile is like slippers on bare feet. Even if your worn floors are just in one concentrated area — say, right at the door — a sizable rug like this one will be effective at hiding the trouble spot while adding a new layer of beauty to the area at large.Tip: No time like the present to enact a sensible no-shoes policy if you've been thinking along those lines. This is a great way to prevent further damage to existing flooring as well as keep new rugs in good shape.
Kurt Cyr added this to 17 Gorgeous Ways to Work In a Patterned Area Rug
Right this way. There’s no mistaking where to go in this entryway: The rug leads the way. Area rugs don’t just anchor furniture arrangements; they can also provide direction, as this one does. These vibrant colors really dress up the hallway and turn it into a grand entrance.
