Kurt Cyr

Kurt is a well-rounded and accomplished designer. Born in Missoula, Montana, He holds a BA in Interior Design. He began his career designing department stores, and co-designed the flagship store for May Company in Denver, Colorado before moving in residential and product design. He has designed homes from the ground up. Remodeled them. Illustrated them. TV celebrity Kathy Kinney - “Mimi” on the Drew Carey Show is among Kurt's clients. Besides designing residences, he also designs the furniture as well as fabrics that cover them. Kurt has created collections of holiday decorative products, ornaments and kitchenalia. Kurt was creative director for Artco, a private label home good manufacturer. He has spent time in China overseeing the production of the product line. Kurt also writes about design. He has written articles and created decorative product Romantic Homes, Timber Frame Homes and wrote the Home Style column in Log Home Living. He has authored Centerpieces through the Year, a how-to book about tablescaping.
