This was an interior repaint we completed in January 2018. It consisted of removing the popcorn texture from the living room and entry ceilings and resurfacing them to a smooth finish. It also included repainting all the trim and walls throughout most of the downstairs of this house. We used ultra flat ceiling paint, flat wall paint and satin oil-based trim paint.

The walls and ceilings are all plaster and there were lots of stress cracks to contend with. We trenched out the cracks with a carbide blade and applied an elastomeric caulking into each crack. We followed that up with a skim coat of joint compound to cover the cracks and create a uniformed wall surface.
