This lovely family decided it was time up date a few favorite rooms of their well loved home. They started with their kitchen.
They knew they wanted to take out the peninsula and replace it with an island.

The peninsula was removed, as well as a cupboard on the opposite side. By doing these two things, the main cabinets and counter were extended opening up the perfect space to fit their desired Island.

Brightening things up a bit, they chose maple cabinets painted "Arctic" and a classic Hanstone "Fusion" counter top.

Xenon lighting was added under the cabinets.

Complementing and pulling this classic look together is their Island top in Hanstone "Aramis", White subway tile, grouted in gray, & "Aged Oak" luxury vinyl tile.
