The client requested updated finishes and lots of storage, so we filled this kitchen / dining space with cabinets. Touches of reclaimed wood and gold finishes warm up the mostly white and gray.

Cambria Britannica in a honed finished was used on the countertops.

An existing fireplace was given new character with shiplap installed in a chevron layout, a reclaimed barnwood mantel, and split-faced stone tile. A section of cabinets with more of a furniture feel offer additional storage for serving pieces as well as a spot to display the clients bar ware.

The client uses the space to cook and entertain, but also for casual TV watching. Tall cabinets flanking the TV area serve as storage for a broom/vacuum, cleaning supplies and pantry storage.
