We were called in to help with the remodel of an original adobe constructed residence located in wonderful hillside country. Our clients wanted to maintain the original adobe brick of the home and replace worn flooring with a product suitable for the country styling of the home with many pets and casual living. Kitchen cabinets and appliances needed replacing and an imposing stucco island hood had had its day both in function and overbearing presence. Master Bath cabinets and plumbing needed replacing and an outdated "sunken Jacuzzi" tub was replaced with a more comfortably accessed freestanding tub in front of an atrium window and arched adobe columns. The limitations of remodeling with adobe brick in place were quite daunting with no possibilities of re- locating electrical or plumbing from where it had been originally planned. We worked within the confines of the previous footprint.
