THE HOME:
Large established Bungalow, Mt Eden, Hannah & David Ross, a family of five.
THE BRIEF:
We were engaged to assist with the interior finishes while blending the clients existing art and furnishings with many pieces bought during their time living in Asia.
WHAT WE DID:
We brought in contemporary furniture and furnishings to make a home that was inspiring, functional, and really told the story of the family's past travels and experiences. Starting in the open plan living area, we added a new custom-made Designer’s Rug with a print that blended with the room, with a custom-made coffee table and Ottoman. Bold occasional chairs were added, along with restyled shelving units and new soft furnishings.

The kitchen came to life with an incredible wallpaper feature by Cole and Sons, bringing colour and fun to the space.

The indoor/outdoor room was updated with a new dining area and couches around the fireplace. An outdoor rug, coffee table and planters were mixed to create a fabulous place to entertain and relax.

In the sitting room, wallpaper was utilised again to bring in a lux vibe with an Asian-inspired bamboo feel, we also added a custom couch, and fabulous custom chairs - both in stunning tactile fabrics. Cabinetry was made to fit beside the fireplace, purpose-built to house the large array of technology and showcase their book collection and souvenirs.

The master bedroom called for an adult retreat vibe with new custom bed and window treatments. We also added feature wallpaper with a divine calm blue and a crystal moon light to create a perfect ambience.

My clients now have a family home they love, that reflects their personal style and is a haven in their full lives.
