THE HOME:
Large four-bedroom home located on private acreage, Kumeu - Rodney, Thomas Baseden, family of three.
THE BRIEF:
Give the house a Balinese-style feel with a relaxed and livable vibe.
WHAT WE DID:
We used natural materials and textures to keep the feeling of the house relaxed. Our clients had great taste, so this was a collaborative process that allowed us to create a really stylish home that linked the great outdoor space to the inside.
We added finishing touches with a new couch, coffee table, sideboards, and soft furnishing in two key spaces. We purchased swinging outdoor chairs for the kid’s balconies, giving them a space to curl up with a book. In the outdoor pool pavilion, we chose easy-use furniture to cope with the harsh elements of NZ.
It’s now a retreat from the city you never want to leave
