THE SANCTUARY
The Sanctuary
The Brief
This home was fully reimagined to improve functionality and flow. The brief was for a pared-back yet luxurious interior, using natural tones and warm timbers to create a calm, timeless base — a home designed to grow and adapt with the family.
What We Did
Working alongside Scarlet Architects, we created a home of calm sanctuaries balanced with carefully placed wow moments. The kitchen is a perfect example — warm timber cabinetry paired with durable work surfaces, finished with a striking feature stone to the island and splashback to add depth and drama.
In the bathrooms, we focused on creating spaces that feel both serene and luxurious. Solid natural stone vanity tops were used throughout, with integrated stone basins in the master and powder room for a seamless, sculptural look. Layered tiling adds texture, durability, and a sense of tranquillity across all wet areas.
Window treatments were thoughtfully selected to provide privacy, shade, and light control where needed. Sheer curtains play a key role in the living spaces, softening the interiors and creating a sense of lightness and volume. Soft furnishings were kept in neutral tones, allowing the architecture and materials to remain the true heroes of the home.
