Attic Addition - Master Suite

Being six foot two, this client had the challenge of occupying the attic of his home as a master suite without hitting his head on the ceiling. At first, the attic of his Jamaica Plain home seemed lofty but the reality was only a small portion of the space was walkable for a person of his height. Accommodating at every turn for whatever space was available, careful attention was paid to the daily path of travel. The result is a suite that is easily negotiable on foot with ample spaces for seating, bathing and storage that do not require one to stand. In association with JDP.
