This reconstruction was envisioned with the family’s mixed Miami and traditional New England roots. A common issue with the developer style colonial houses built throughout the region is that they lack an open concept, spacious living, and fail to take advantage of views. This colonial was no exception, but it did have one strong advantage: location! In working with this client, Chris uncovered their underlying desires and envisioned a home here in Massachusetts that could engage the traditional while bridging both their heritage and desires for a warmer climate.
