This project was a little different than recent projects. My clients had relocated from Austin, TX to Maine and had strong opinions on what they envisioned for the overall finished look of their home, but weren't exactly sure how to get there. My job was to create uniformity and flow between the spaces and finish what they had started. Working with the existing color palette and many existing furniture pieces, I introduced touches of teal and turquoise to cool down the warm tones and added colorful accents and patterned rugs, pillows and lamps throughout. I also designed a custom glass, iron and wood dining table for them and brought in a few more custom tables in the living room. I had so much fun working with them! They were so open to all my ideas, even when I pushed them outside their comfort zone in a few areas. In the end, we achieved a beautiful, cohesively styled home they are thrilled with and perfectly represents their tastes and personalities. I hope they will enjoy it for many, many years to come!
