This beautiful space was built with designed for an active family: This new space provides plenty of bookshelf storage and display area for photos, memorabilia and treasures made by the children. I maintained plenty of wide open spaces for playing Legos and trains on the floor, yet gave the family plenty of comfortable seating options for watching tv, curling up and reading a book or gazing out at the ocean in the backyard. The gorgeous new fireplace insert with custom walnut mantel and natural slate surround is the new focal point of the space. The radius of the hearth brings it into the room and invites you to take a seat and stay awhile. I love the pops of orange and turquoise throughout the space!
