The goal of this project was to create an exterior space that could be used for outdoor entertaining as well as quiet morning relaxation. We removed an existing deck and installed the patio and built the pergola. The patio was built using Dublin Cobble concrete pavers with a darker brick border. The pergola is all red cedar and has built in planting boxes in the top corners for hanging plants. We used the surrounding landscape beds and plant material to soften the feel of the space and create a cooler mico-climate.
