Rather than a showcase of personality, the room was meant to be a tranquil, unifying space. The unembellished, well-proportioned furniture, including Christian Liaigre’s armoire, Flexform chairs, and Paolo Piva’s oversized bed, rests atop hand-scraped walnut floors.

The dark paneling grounds the bedroom, and bed in matching wenge wood seem to bne integral part of it. Unobtrusive night stands with concealed drawers act as a stage for the jaunty globe lamps.
