With such a pretty view why not maximize the windows. The center windows do not have grids while the end windows do to create a picture frame for the outdoor view. Heavy fluting trim is the window treatment...no need for fabrics here.

This is a dramatic way to welcome your guest, but still feeling cozy. The arch is trimmed in stained beadboard with a Lantern Light Fixture showing it off. Heavy trim detail at the front door with an arched transom finish off the space

Over sized fireplace with stone surround to the cathedral ceiling and built-ins on either side. The continuous mantle ties it all together. The great room is also open to the kitchen. The room is 19'x18'

Angle of the island allows for a ton of space around the island. There is almost 7' between the range and the sink. Buyer's decided against a formal dining room, but instead opted to make the eating area a little more formal with the columns and room for a hutch. Photo by: Linda Parsons
