I had the privilege of designing this home from scratch as well as decorating the entire home. This home is inspired by their love of the Waldorf Astoria in Chicago. The concept was to keep a timeless, classic design but with some "bling" touches which was mostly done with the lighting.

I like mixing inexpensive and expensive items to get an elegant look. I like to save money where I can but make a statement in other places. In this case the chandelier cost twice as much as the dining table AND chairs but it is in the center of the space and seen from all over and well worth it....

The Owner wanted a private entrance to his office. It is very difficult to notice the opening if the door is closed. The wall panels help to protect the walls in this busy mud room hallway. Linda Parsons

I had the trim panels added to create the sections to add the wallpaper. The paper is a silky version of a smooth grass cloth. This is another example of timeless design.

The tall silver chain link Chandelier with drum shade is the center piece of the Sloped tray ceiling with dropped crown molding for the recessed lighting.

The 8' tall tufted headboard was custom made to match the room. The trim matches the bathroom cabinets and the Robert Allen fabric is a metallic pearl color. The headboard was mounted directly to the wall and lines up to the same height of the doorways and windows.

This expansive ranch is set on over an acre lot at the end of a cul-de-sac. It is over 80' wide. Created the arched recessed for more texture. The exterior design is done with Dryvit cuts.
