Beautiful Kitchen & Master Bath

This client was looking to open up the kitchen to the dining room, as well as remodel their master bathroom. So we removed a wall and shifted the doorway a little. When we removed the wall we found this beautiful beam and couldn’t just cover it back up. So with a little elbow grease we cleaned it up, stained it and sealed it to match the existing wood trim and new wood floops. In addition to that we helped them create a master bathroom with a tropical island feel to it.

The wood floors were chosen because of their rich cherry hues and natural grain look. We found the flooring at Metro Floors. The color is called Sunnyside Cherry. They are perfect for this space.

The backsplash came from Oregon Tile and Marble in the color Barley. We chose the 4x8 subway tile and ran it vertically with a 1/2 oset pattern. We chose to take the backsplash from the countertop to the bottom of the upper cabinets. This gives it a clean nished look.

The cabinets where constructed of a paint grade material with soft close hinges and drawer glides. The countertop material chosen was the Bradshaw color from the Cambria Collection. The Bradshaw slab provides warm cream and brown colors to tie in the floors, walls, and cabinets. All of the colors in this space go beautifully together.

The client wanted a bigger sink so we went with this Blanco Precis undermount sink in the color Cinder. The faucet is a Hans-grohe with a pull down sprayer. This particular model has a high arc for those times when you need to have that extra room for cleaning or cooking.

We wanted the kitchen to feel warm and cozy so we selected these cabinet pulls in an oil rubbed bronze nish. This particular selection is the Hopewell Bar Pull from Top Knob. For the wider drawers we used the appliance pull from the same collection.

In the dining room we added a broom and vacuum closet with an opening at the top to house a small TV. Since the room is open to the kitchen we made sure to match the kitchen cabinets.

We designed and built a new vanity and stained it to match the existing woodwork in the room. To continue the feel of a tropical experience we chose this Sage color from Pental’s Quartz collection. It ties in beautifully with the opalescent green mosaic.
