English style Tudor home

This client was looking to update and recreate their prior mudroom. We took out the old and replaced just about everything. We worked closely with the client to create the ideal space with a classic and clean feel. Perfect for coming in and out of the rain, sun or just working on a project.

The client wanted an updated mud room. We took it down to the studs, replaced the door, new hardware, new shaker cabinets, bead board, shoe storage and so much more!

The door was selected to coordinate with the style of the homes from the early 1900's. This two panel, six pane door was stained to match the mahogany trim. The six panes allow more added natural light into the room; which is perfect for the North West weather.

The new cabinets offer a wood seat made of mahogany to match the door and new desk space. The drawers under the bench seats offer pull out shoe storage. A beautiful custom desk and work space was the last touch to this updated mudroom. Some of the details that finished the look we were going for was the gray paint on the cabinets and baseboards. We also added a stained shoe molding at the base boards and around the cabinet and desk. The painted crown molding at the top helps the cabinets transition into the ceiling.
