Our objective for this project was to create an open concept kitchen with an island that was adjacent to the family room. The client did not want to add additional square footage. We were able to come up with a design that moved the old kitchen to the formal dining space, and incorporated the formal dining space into the living area. The old kitchen became a breakfast nook.
The client wanted a powder bathroom on this end of the house. We did that by using the old laundry room space and created the new powder bathroom and laundry room.
