Even though it’s set back from the beachfront, vistas from English Bay to the Gulf Islands seem to fill every window of this new home by architect Craig Chevalier, giving the home a serene beach house feel. Mid-century design elements such as sandstone finish cinderblock that is continuous outside and in, pale driftwood-toned woods and clerestory windows give the house a subtle 20th Century modern look.

We kept very much within the design language of the house when it came to selecting furniture, art and accessories. It became a true go-with-the-flow experience to pull it all together in a way that enhances the natural ambience of the home and makes it all feel fully resolved.
