This dark and dated family home was ready for an MMID refresh! With their children growing up, this home was ready to have the ultimate makeover. Our vision was to have this home be the perfect place for family and friends to gather and have fun game nights together. They requested green and blue colours which helped to balance out the warm wood undertones in the furniture. We added additional seating to the living room to help accommodate more family and friends. In the dining room, we added grey built-ins for extra storage. Gold hardware was chosen and created a luxurious feel. Everything in the dining room had practicality in mind. We included under-cabinet lighting and wood countertops. A new wood dining table has a bench facing the window to keep an open view out. This dining room was transformed to be the perfect spot for a dinner party with their friends. The new modern chandelier and plush area rug were the perfect finishing touches! We didn't forget about transforming their primary bathroom. This space was transformed into a relaxing oasis. The outdoor elements were pulled in to create a calming environment. A rich green geometric accent wall compliments the warm wood nightstands and the neutral bedding. Everything down to the custom blackout drapery, black accents, customized framed photo, full-length mirror and patterned ottoman helps them start and end their day on the right foot!
