An underused basement becomes a highly efficient bonus space. The improved layout leaves room for an office nook, ¾” bath, laundry, and closet space. Custom built-ins provide storage throughout the space including a shoe rack and bench off of the garage, a full wall of shelving, a desk with floating shelves, and a storage cubby in the bathroom. By using the existing footings as a base, the shelves do double duty to maximize storage space without taking away valuable square footage.
